Evidence-informed, without pretending the product is therapy.
Husband Rebuild uses concepts from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), and adult attachment research. The product translates those concepts into self-guided relationship education for adult men.
What we use
The cycle, the softer signal, and secure connection
The core lens is the recurring negative interaction cycle rather than a defective partner. We look at protective moves such as pursuing, defending, or withdrawing; the attachment fear or need underneath; and whether partners can remain emotionally accessible, responsive, and engaged enough to repair.
What we do not claim
The Relationship Cycle Check (formerly the Relationship Pressure Score) is not a clinical diagnostic test
The score is an original educational pattern check informed by EFT concepts. It has not been independently validated as a psychometric instrument, and Husband Rebuild is not a substitute for couple therapy, mental-health treatment, crisis support, or professional assessment.
Evidence
Why EFT is a reasonable foundation
Randomized-trial reviews and meta-analyses report improvements in relationship satisfaction from EFCT. The evidence is meaningful, but not perfect: studies vary in size and quality, publication bias is a concern, and a 2026 review argues that larger independent replications are still needed. We use the research as a foundation, not as permission to make outcome guarantees.
