Message check: read this before you hit send

Before sending anything important, run a quick check. Does this message blame, demand, or try to manage her reaction? Does it carry a hidden invoice or a test? If so, it will likely land as pressure, and pressure usually gets distance back. Three filters help. First, am I sharing my own experience or assigning her a crime. Second, am I leaving room for any response, or only the one I want. Third, would I be okay sending this even if she takes a day to reply, or replies in a way I did not script.
